Default squeaky steering

Ive got this really annoying sound whenever i turn the steering wheel past a certain degree. its like squeaking or something, its most noticeable in a parking lot. also how do you know when your suspension is shot. i can feel like every bump i go over , and ifyoure looking at my car it looks like the rear has been lowered, like seriously lowered but not so much the front. thanks

squeeking is probably and outter tierod end, ford doesnt give you any grease fittings, find out which side its coming from and i'll bet you its that (NAPA # 269-2923). as far as suspension.......how many miles on the car, what year, do you have low profile tires? Sometimes if you have lo pro tires you will feel every bump. Suspension you usually just go by mileage and age of car.

Theo sound on the steering has now become more serious. It is a sort of thumping whenever i turn the wheel and backout. Any tips on how I would go about changing the outer tierod end. Is the piece expensive? Can i just do it by jacking up the car?

as for the ride quality, your shocks and struts are most likely done if they have never been changed.

front struts will run you 75 each and rear should be about 65 each...
