Default looking at blower cams...

Hey guys i haven't posted here for a while now because i've been really busy with work and school. However, these days i'm thinking about doing a little shopping for "Mary". Anyway, im thinking of getting a set of blower cams but im baffled about the choice. Here is what i've narrowed it down to: MPH stage III blower, VT/CMS stage III blower, or Crower stage III blower (from rpmoutlet). So far the crower cams are the cheapest but im not sure about the quality. Ive heard a lot of good things about mph and vt but mph cams supposedly don't lope as well as the vt/cms. Do the crower ones lope pretty good? Im not really going for crazy power here but i've been making plans to get a new forged shortblock and heads so i figured i'd change the cams too. Thanks for any input.

Dave

Crowers Suck *****...Always have, always will only thing that was ever good about them was the fact that they were one of the first companies to make and Aftermarket cam for the Mod.

CMS Blower cams are the best there are period

Just pick your poison, 2, 2.5 or 3's?

thanks sxynerd, i was thinking of stage 3s but the 2.5s sound tempting as well. Do you know if the 2.5s lope well? I think id be better off with them because of the powerband.

I have CMS stage 3 blower cams and they are going in tomorrow. Stage 3 is way to much cam for your setup. You should be looking at stage 2 blower cams. Stage 3 blower cams are best for 18+ psi.

His buddy (red one) has 3's but says the 2.5's are much better for DD cars.
