crankshaft siezed after turning by hand?
Si i've been replacing my timing chain, guides and tensioners. Car was running fine but broken tensioners were causing horrible rattling. I did let the camshaft slip a little without the chain on but follwed some instructions and got it timed and turning freely for about 4-5 full rotations....then the crankshaft stopped like it was hitting something again. so i turned it back the other way an it stopped after about 180 degrees. About 10 minutes later i attempted to move the crankshaft by hand again and its frozen stuck. I've removed the camshaft to eleminate any possible valves being open, the car has not been started and the only pressure on the crankshaft has been me turning it by hand (using the harmonic balance pulley).
has anyone ever dealt with this. Plugs are all out, no pressure can build up in the cylinders and camshaft is still off. Ever heard of an engine siezing gradually by hand turning it?
Any input would help.

yeah, the crankshaft stopped like it was hitting something when thecamshaft moved. I retimed and lined everything up then it spun for about 4-5 full rotations. then felt like it was hitting something, i backed it up and spun it the other way and it stopped after 180 deg. then it stuck for good. no stron amount of force was put on the crank at all.
what about the tranny, can that be affecting it
thanks
