Soldier - tell me about your Brenspeed tune..is that an XCal also? Did you do the tune at the same time as your gears? I'm asking because I guess if you did gears and tune right at the same time it'd be hard to isolate one or the other and say whether or not the tune was worth it. I'm thinking of getting the same through Brenspeed right now. Is this a pretty sweet mod or is it another CAI thing? I spent 200 damn bucks on my JLT and that was a freaking dud. didn't really notice much diff. at all. Will I notice a big diff with a 93 tune over stock with my mods?

MJH78 the Breenspeed guys are A+. Great customer service. Yes and I also have the x-cal. Just call or e-mail those guys tell them what mods you have and they'll set you up. Also the X-Cal is soooooooo easy to use. To answer your other questions I had the guys send me the tuner before I did the gears. Once the gears were installed I had the tuner so I calibrated my speedo right on the spot. If you plan on modding your stang the tuner is the way to go. This time last year the only mod I had was a CAI!!!!!! If u don't have gears get them; you will most def feel the difference...........

Thanks SOldier. So prior to installing the gears, you had "installed" your 93 tune. Were you able to feel much of a difference with the tuner alone (before the gears)?

Man the car ran a alot better once I bought the tuner. What r your plans N/A or aspirated? If you plan on staying N/A buy 410's if you're planning on Nitrous, or S/C go with 3.73's. Most def buy the tuner, u want regret it.

I will def. being staying N/A. might get gears in the future, but figured I'd start out with the tuner first since I'd need the tuner anyways for the speedo. I was just wondering what kind of sotp gain a tuner alone gives you. ill probably go with brenspeed.
