yeah, i am going to keep the stock springs and shocks for the time being since i am on a budget. I put coil overs on an eclipse gsx for a friend and it was a major pain. Plus I am kind of partial to the stance on my car right now, although it would be nice if i had a 1/2 to 3/4 inch drop all the way around.

Most def. I wish I had stayed w/ conventional coils. But at the track, they are great. I think I have finally crossed over the street car to drag car line

currently my car is a lift. how big of a pita will it be to swap the k-member out, and if i cant have strap the engine to the tower brace to hold it in place to change the k, what do you think I could do to get my car in the 400hp range on a N/A engine.

on their website click the fox k and their is an option for it to fit the 96-98, and 99-04 stangs.

Coil overs a pita because they just are, the ride is usually rougher and it doesnt bother me, it is just a pita because they dont want to fit right and you may end up with the spring rubbing your tires, and the adjusters get jammed etc. Not worth it imo.

So, if your car is street driven then coil overs are a waste of time and money?
Hmmm.... ok

I made the switch to coilovers and it made the ride firmer, you will be able to feel more "road noise".
I went with the QA1 kit with the aluminum struts and it was so much lighter than the stock units. well worth the $$

Coilovers being a PITA on a street car is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. The ride is much more stable and much better handeling. I have friends that rode in my car then go out and convert to coilovers.

If you go the poor man route and get crappy sleeved kits and non adjustable shocks and struts then you got the ride quality you paid for.
