Which cams?
Ok so having a bit of money after I get back home I am thinking about cams after getting my longtubes. Basically I've ultimately decided against looking into a 4V swap so I want to use what I have now.
I hear so many different brands and all this tech talk about cams which I am not too familiar about. One particular cam that keeps coming up is the Hi Tech stage 2 cams. Appearently you get good gains from it with little to no loss in the low end. I'm thinking about getting it but I have several questions:
1. I mean is this a good cam? Little info: my 04 GT has about 32,000mi on it and my current mods are in my sig. I don't have to do any extensive driving but this is my one and only DD. I want it to be streetable.
2. If later down the line I choose go to with ported heads or maybe even the upcoming trickflow heads for instance, will this be a good cam that can also be compatible with that? It would be great to keep using the cams and not have to buy another set.
3. If I go S/C, will these cams work well too?
4. Where the hell can you buy it LOL??? I type it in google and see almost no sites carrying it
Thanks,
Brandon

You need to decide now on what you plan on doing with your car. If not you will find yourself buying the same aftermarket parts over again.
If you get aftermarket heads I would not recommend getting a reverse split camshaft.
Come up with a plan and let us know.

Let me tell you, I love my comp cams. Talked to a Tech from Comp (Mike) and he pointed me in the right direction. Some of the post on this thread are well above my head. Call Comp and ask for Mike......
