Default intercooler question

I see most people mount their intercoolers with the inlet/outlets on the bottom. Is their any specific reason for this because I plan on having my inlet and outlet on the top because if they are at the bottom, their pipes will be hitting my fog lights.

Good luck running your piping with inlet and outlet on top.

You must have a very wide intercooler for the pipes to hit the fog lights on the bottom. Mine had the inlet at the bottom and outlet at the top. If you get the inlet and outlet at the top it will be a pain to hook to.

+1. You will have to use twice the the elbows to get it to work. Bends don't promote good flow.
