Default quick question about air filter and silencer.

i have gotten the assembly apart (the plastic air filter container thing with the silencer attached). Can i hose off the silencer and the inside of the plastic box? thats fine right?
what about hosing the air filter. I assume its the stock one.. not a k&n...

thanks.

oh haha and i found quite a few dead little critters in the plastic box and silencer, just some moths and a bee. lol weird...

Many will tell you to removed it. Personally I think the colder air from the fender out weighs any benefits of removing the silencer

You can wash it out the tubes, just make sure its bone dry before you put it back together..(Dont wash the MAF sensor, take that part off) Also, dont spray a paper filter with water.... bad things will happen. Either replace it or get a K&N drop in. Hell I got a K&N Ill sell you for $$
