are the axels on a 8.8 rear end interchangable? lets say i need a drivers side axel but i already have a passenger side axel can i use that axel and use it on the drivers side? can i use the right side and put it on the left?

Yes, as long as the rearend its coming out of is the same length. Don't try to fit a 79-93 8.8 axle in a sn95 or new edge rearend.

the sn95 axles won't fit a newedge or fox rearend either.
