ok heres the question right now i have a bassani xpipe and magnaflow mufflers would i lose hp if i took off the mufflers and went with straight pipes from the xpipe

yea you would definatley lose torque. Back pressure would be a ggod thing on your car unless it was turbocharged, then you would want it to be me free flowing

Not because you have less back pressure, but scavenging abilities of your exhaust decreases, unless you have the HP to handle a wide open exhaust, it won't help you any.

you would def. lose torque because of the fact you will be getting rid of the back pressure. you might even possibly need to get a tune done because w/o the back pressure your computer is ganna be going crazy
