Default My first transmission drop

I dropped my transmission to replace the input shaft seal since it was leaking fluid. I also put on a new clutch that was badly needed. While I had the transmission off I replaced the rear main oil seal, clutch pilot bearing, throw out bearing, oil pan gasket, and the rear extension housing seal.

Below are pictures of my adventure.

Looks like a good time. Nice job but clean your interior, it's nasty.

Wait I think I see it.. Did you just jack the engine up a little and stuff wood under there?

Yes I did. I put a block of wood under the oil pan and jacked the engine up. Then put some wood inbetween the engine block and motor mounts.

I noticed the left side of the block has a piece broken off. It looks like that happened at the factory and since it wasn't a necessary piece they used the block anyway.
