0-60mph times
Hey, just wondering what some of you guys with 96-98 gt's are running for 0-60 times. I ran 5.85 according to sniper recon data, but i also had some pretty bad wheel spin. Stock its 6.8 so thats not a bad improvement. So what are u guys running?

Cool. I heard that stock 99-04's should run 5.5's and thats probably with a manual transmission too. Not sure what I run yet but it would be cool to find out. How did you use your recon to log it? I have the SF and it comes with the recon but I've never used it before

I used my I-pod to test it and pulled a 5.6 with the TCS on and kicking in at the top of first.
and my car is not meant to be launched.
Edit: Also I forgot I had a passenger, my tool kit and a low rise jack in the car.

Im curious if the data you guys are getting is actually accurate.
Just so you know, the stock Stall Converter is actually rated at 2300-2700 in a 96-04 GT.
So technically your stall is about 2500 RPM's stock.
You slowed your car down if you actually have a 2000 stall.
Im hoping you mean you can footbrake to 2k?...which wouldnt be the stall speed but would be higher than stock.

I was told that stock was 1800 for my car. I could be wrong. They guy that built my trans said that it was a higher stall then stock. Useing recon is really easy, just plug it in a connect to the cars pcm, display gauge panel, and record when you are ready. Save it when you done and you can go back and look at more information then you know what to do with. Call sniper if you have any question they have really good support.

Stall speed is not the same as what the car will powerbrake too.
If you put the car in the 2nd position and floor it, the converter should flash to the stall speed.
For example, my 3500 stall will powerbrake to like 2500 almost before the tires start to spin.
Do this and see where it goes.
Stall speed in 96-04 Mustang Gt's with the 4.6 and 4r70w is about 2500....theres not maybe's, that is a fact.
