Power question
I have an 01 GT and am looking to do some basic mods for a little extra power. I was thinking 4.10 gears, and a CAI, but I want a little more after that. What would be the next step up after I get the gears and CAI? I dont want anything like nitrous or a supercharger or anything like that but just basic mods to make my car a little more powerful. Thanks for any help!

RE: Power question
full exhuast.
then also a new TB/plenum combo. make it a full bolt on GT. you can even go with some new cams and other stuff too. if your a manual u can get a short throw shifter and if ur auto u can get the programmer to make it shift faster... there are a top of mods you can do to it. you can also do some suspension work to make it handle better and also some new control arms to improve launch.

RE: Power question
Look at my mods. I think that I've spent aprox under 2k for mine. That'll get you like up to 260RWHP or maybe 300HP crank. It'll give you more tire roasting power and sound. When you're doing bolt-on mods, HP really doesn't come cheap! That's why I bought a used '02 GT with 2,700 miles on it so I could get more mods within my budget. If you really really really want power and you know you won't be happy stuck at like 300HP crank, then don't screw around...just get a power adder now and save all the steps and hassle.
