Default Differences?

What are the differences between a 2003 Ford Mustang GT, and a 2006 Ford Mustang GT?

yea.
whole different chassis design
05+ uses thorttle by wire ( 03 uses cable)
05+ has 3v's per cylinder
05+ weighs more
05+ has an axle back muffler set up
03 has catback muffler set up
2v's dont respond to mods very well

thats just some stuff

I knew about the different body, I was mainly wondering about the performance. So how much faster is the 05+?

I'd say about .3 to .5 in the quarter mile faster. Start adding mods and the 3v will gain an even larger lead

In addition to the obvious ones, aesthetics and performance, the suspension was changed as well, the mustang front suspension remained unchanged form 1979-2004 but in 2005 they revised and vastly improved the system.

The rear suspension was improved as well, the factory 4-link was ditched for a more favorable Torque arm and Panhard bar setup
