Default lowering springs

Hey everyone. I just put my lowering springs on my car. WOW. I love the handling and the look is awesome. I could not stand how high my car sat off the ground. Last night I was on my way back from a party and my buddy was following me on his motorcycle and there was a huge dip in the road that I had forgotten about and when I hit at about 75 MPH, I just felt how hard it was. Sure enough my buddy said sparks flew from underneath. When I got home I got under to see what it was that hit the ground, it was my flowmasters. I know now what my limits are when I come across bumps.

Did you install them yourself? If so, how was it? How much did you lower it? Are you on stock struts/shocks? What kind of springs?

Just a few questions

I installed them myself and it was easy. Took about 2 hours. I looked around on different sights to get an idea of how change them and knocked it out. I recommend having a second man with you, but it is really easy. I have sprint springs which dropped it about 2 inches. I am running on the stock shocks and struts but I will change them soon. The ride is amazing. I will get my buddies camera and take some pics for you guys.

I would not recommend going any lower than the Eibach Pro Kit (max = 1.5â€). I run the Pro Kit and STILL scrap on damn near everything – cannot imagine what the setups that drop it even lower would be like!

When you did your pro-kit did you change your shocks and struts? I wanna do the pro-kit but I don't wanna wear out my suspension faster.

I've heard about a lot of people getting away with stock shocks/struts with the pro kit.
