Hi! I'm about to sell my 2003 GT. It has a 4.6L V8. KBB puts the resale value around $7,000. I was wondering if the supercharger came standard on this model or if having one bumps up my resale value at all. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

 

only the 2003 cobras came with the factory supercharger. and if you have one on a gt then maybe you might be able to get a little more for the car. but not much.

You're asking this question in the 2005-2010 forum... Sorry, but I don't know jack about the 2003's.

 

None of the gt's came with a supercharger. You can sell it yourself and get more, but as a trade in it might hurt the value. One option is to return it to stock and sell the kit you could probably get around $2500-$3000 for it maybe more.

 

^2500-3000 seems a bit much for a used kit, depending on what it is, take pictures post em up and we'll tell you what you have (if you don't already know). You could use the supercharger as a selling point to sell the car quick and possibly get a little more for it or you could take it off and sell it. Depending on what it is i may be interested. post some pics up.

 

If you were not sure about whether it came standard, then I feel you may not be able to return the car to stock that cheaply. If you have one on there then i would say sell it how it is now.
