Default Painting Calipers - Poll: Black or Red?

Hey everyone,
I wanted to see who has painted their calipers and how you did it. Did you use a brake caliper paint system (brush on or spray on)? or powdercoat them? If so, what prep needs to be done before they are powdercoated. Any other information is appreciated,
Thanks guys,
Kurt

**EDIT**

Pretty much everything on the outside of my car is black and white so naturally, I thought I'd just do black for the calipers. But now I'm thinking maybe the red would stand out a lot and really accent my brakes/wheels. What do you guys think?

Here are a couple side shots of the car to get your brains turning

This is the rear wheel (that's why the brake looks tiny haha) but it's the best up close pic I have of my wheels/brakes

if you powedercoat them they have to be stipped down completely.

nothing plastic or rubber can be in them

I spray painted mine on my old sixer, kinda redneck but they actually came out good. I would buy a kit.

I just got the Roush/Alcon brake kit with the 4 pot calipers up front and reusing the stock rears sooooo.. I called my local powdercoating shop and they said $120 per caliper pair. I think since the 4 piston calipers are nice and new and clean I'll probably have them powdercoat those 2. As for prep, they just said to make sure the calipers were cleaned/degreased and they would take care of the rest (they do calipers quite often apparently). Then I'll just degrease the stock rears and brush those with the dupli-color kit (I've had that paint kit for almost a year and I haven't got around to it!).

Thanks for the pics guys, it doesn't look bad/sloppy at all. I think that will be sufficient for my rears. Maybe I'm too excited to be putting 4 pots on up front but I think $120 for powdercoating which will look really nice is worth it to show off my investment.

Here's a crappy camera phone pic of my caliper and then a couple pics of what looks like the same caliper powdercoated red

Haha that's not my car. It's a car with the same brakes as me though. I just posted that up as an example if a car with those brakes. But now your comment has me wondering.. Pretty much everything on the outside of my car is black and white so naturally, I thought I'd just do black for the calipers. But now I'm thinking maybe the red would stand out a lot and really accent my brakes/wheels. What do you guys think?
