Default 2000gt idle fluctuation

Hi guys, I just registered and i have a 2000 GT with Flowmaster 40's, Eibach Pro Springs, and an 80mm C&L mass air meter. When I installed the C&L i experienced idle fluctuation at stop from 400-1000 rpms. I called brothers racing and they told me to unplug the batt overnight to reset the computer. I did and it idled great for two days and now its worse than before. Any thoughts?

I'm running the stock injectors but i called Brother's performance and they told me to disconnect my batt. and hold the two terminals together to reset the CPU (effective when taking warranteed cars to the dealer)

then whenever i turn the car on to just wait a few seconds until the car settles at the right idle instead of just starting the car and taking off. So far it seems their advice has turned out great.

I recommend that you pull the DTC's (diagnostic trouble codes) from your car's computer to see what the problem is. It sounds like an early sign of Idle air control valve malfunction (<FONT face=Arial size=2>P0505 Idle Control System Malfunction ). If that's the case I recommend you buy a new part instaed of cleaning it. Same problem happened to me , now my car is like new. </FONT></P>

<FONT face=Arial size=2>To pull codes from computer follow this website instructions: http://mustangworld.com/ourpics/fcar/dtcodes.htm</FONT></P>

<FONT face=Arial size=2>see also http://www.obdii.com/codes.htmlfor more codes.</FONT>
