Default Starter going bad?

After my PI swap my car started fine and at times takes 2-5 sec to start. Today it was kinda cold and I drove up the gas station to get a drink and go to my friends house. My car wouldnt start unless I went WOT it did this twice untill the engine got hot. The car started fine in the garage before I left.

Is it just being hard to start because of the increased compression or is it the starter?

To me it sounds a little more like a battery going bad. If you have a multi meter you can check the battery voltage before you start the car to see what it at. If it's below 12 the battery is dischaging. You would then want to start the car and see what voltage is being pushed by the alt. It'd probably read between 13 and 14 volts. If you get less than 12 volts off the alt. That would be the problem. If you don't have a multi meter you try to use a freinds car to jump it. Let it sit for a couple of minutes before you try to start her up. If the starter cranks right over like it normally would them it's probably a bad battery. Hope this helps you out a little.
