Unhappy pats system help

so ford dealership doesnt want to work on my car because it doesnt make the pats module anymore.the halo and module are communicating but the module and pcm arent.i recently bought a pats bypass and just went to the dealer and talked to a tech and he said it wont work,is this true?is there anyway to bypass this module or even the pats system because im sick of seeing my stang just sitting there,i really need some help my head is about to explode.its a 98 mustang gt 5 speed.

story behind this problem:a few months ago someone tried to steal my mustang ripped the top and tried hotwiring it but failed.
i had it towed to the dealership got a scan on it and it threw a pats code.i talked to the tech and said they dont make the modules anymore because it more than ten years old so im going to have to find a brand new out of the box module for a 98 or im screwed.

It will work the tech is a moron. Either install the bypass yourself or buy a tuner and turn the pats off completely.
