What I meant was that I would only be using it for street. Not really racing.

So having automatic car... it allows you to shift? I heard there around what

$70-$80? What are the positives by installing it & also how hard is it to install???

Thanks

i just wanna clearify.. im not saying a shift kit makes u have to start in first everytime u come to a stop or what not. u can leave it in drive. it just takes less time for the transmission to react to the shift when u go from 1 to 2 2 to d. thats what i was saying in my first post but i think it was interpretted the wrong way

Buy you a case of tranny fluid, B&M shift improver kit, filter and gasket. Thats all you need other than normal tools. Also needed is a small drill. I have installed 4 shift kits in the 4R70W transmissions. If you have any trouble shoot me a pm.

I have a brand new Transgo shift kit for sale, never had the chance to install it before i got rid of the car. I've used one on my 01 Gt and loved it. But it was time for a change to a manual. PM if any of you are interested in. Thanks
