Default engine swap 98to96

Im new to the forums im swaping out my motor from my (98 gt 4.6L) for a (96 Gt 4.6L) the 96 was an automatic and im going to be using a manual transmission im wonder what i have to replace on the back end of the motor to make the swap work and any thing else i might need to do to make it fire right up

Go with a 99+ PI engine if possible

i would but my budget to get my gt running again wouldnt fund that

IDK how much your spending but I got my PI engine w/ acc for $900.

my budget was only 300$ thats what i got the 96 motor for i'm just wondering is the engine swap going to be just plug in the connectors and fire it up or should i start pulling parts of the 98 block
