Hi I have a 96 gt that i am going to do the PI headswap on. The issu is that the Romero heads i got ( RF1L2E-6090 D22D and RF1L2E-6090 D24D ) have only nine valve cover bolt holes. Will these work provided I get 9 bolt valve covers for them? Thanks for the help.

+ the 2 that go into the timing cover = 11. You are fine.

You have a 96 which means you have romeo heads so your valve covers will fit just fine.

Thanks so much for the info. I have never seen one of theses engines taken apart and was not aware that two of the valve cover bolts go in to the timing chain cover. Im in the process of collecting up parts for the swap.

You will have trouble buying what you need if you search, it's Romeo, not Romero. Goodluck with your swap.
