1998 GT

would i be stupid to put 4.30 gears in my 98 gt auto? its my daily driver but i only drive about 16 miles a day on the highway at 65 or so the rest is in town driving.

Do you plan on staying completely N/A? If so, then 4.30's will work well for you. If you plan on hitting it with the juice or s/c then I wouldn't go over a 4.10. You will end up running out of gear in the 1/4 mile with 4.30's if you go with any sort of F/I.

I hate my 4.10s, too much damn shifting! 5 speed manual revs at 3k @ 80mph loud as hell by that point! Drove it to the drag strip for 130 miles wanted to shoot myself in my ear

I just turn my music up on the highway and it doesn't bother me
