So sometimes my car just doesn't want to start when its cold. I'll sound like its starting to fire up but it doesn't. Eventually it will start but it takes a few tries. Its only when the engine is cold. If its been ran recently it starts fine. Any ideas?
sure its a hot cold issue? have you done the pprv delete?
I dont know what the pprv delete is. But from experience, it always starts when its hot, and only gives me trouble when its cold, but not 100% of the time.
uh no. But the problem hasn't been happening since then. Its only been happening since the weather got warm. The car was tuned in the winter so do you think thats a problem?

Try this method when starting your engine when it is cold to see if it make a difference. Turn your ignition switch to the on position for 2 to 3 seconds, then try starting your engine. If it starts right up, that may suggest you have a fuel related problem. Let us know what happens. Good luck, Tommy.

I've tried watching a few seconds before starting it, but that doesn't work either. Thanks though.
I'll check out the fuel rails and everything today to make sure they aren't leaking.
To be sure, you should install a fuel pressure gauge on your fuel rail. Your fuel pressure should be between 35 psi and 40 psi with your ignition switch on and engine off, and at idle as well. Good luck, Tommy.
