Default Jacking Questions

I know to jack up only the rear of the car you use the pumpkin and to jack up the front you use the k member, but what points do you guys use if you only want to jack up 1 tire??

For example to jack up a front tire, is it safe to place the jack right under the spring?

And for the rear, where do you guys put the jack?

Yeah, don't ever jack up by the pumpkin. I bent my diff cover doing that, at it's a pain in the *** the replace it.

If I want to get the rear wheels (or anything in the rear, for that matter), I jack up by the rear subframe rails. Put a piece of wood under your jack arm so it doesn't bend the metal, and lift away!
