Remove the adjuster and install the sensor back in its original location. not much to it really. Just take five seconds to look at it.

You have to have the original crank pulley bolt to remove adjuster. The simplest way to solve your problem is to set the adjuster to stock timing. Loosen three allen bolts on adjuster. Turn adjuster to 10 degrees(stock setting), retighten allen bolts. Make sure you keep those tight . Good luck.

Remove pulley/ damper bolt. Replace with shorter stock bolt. torque to spec.Unplug wiring harness from crank position sensor. Remove 3 AC retention bolts, and pull compressor out of the way. Support compressor so as not to damage AC lines. Remove adjuster bracket. Remove sensor from bracket. Install sensor in hole . Bolt in place. Reinstall AC bolts, wiring harness, and surpentine belt. Have fun!

If I remember correctly...

remove the bolt that holds the pulley in place. Remove the adjuster and reinstall the bolt (technically you should replace the bolt but most do not)

The sensor goes in the side of the timing cover, bottom left.
