Default MPH custom cams

Has anyone bought custom ground cams from Modular Powerhouse? If so how do you like them? What specs did you go with?

I was talking to the owner (Tim) and off the top of his head, he threw out some specs that he thought might be a good custome grind for me based on my feedback. They are as follows:

550/550 lift
230/234 .050 duration
112 lsa

Any of you cam experts care to comment? Does this look to be a good profile for n/a cams?

I have MPH cams. I believe those may be the same specs as mine. I tried to go to the site where I have a pic of my cam card but I'm having issue with that site, but I'm 99% sure those are my specs.

I'm very happy with them, my car runs well but doesn't sound too radical... although I'm sure a different exhaust setup would change that.

If you can find your cam card that would be awesome, because i'm about ready to buy cams, and these are at the top of my list.

You might be the guy Tim was talking about... he went and pulled a file of a previous customer (99-04) and gave me those specs.

I told him i was looking for something between a stage 1 and 2, and that was a car they previously did with great results.

The car sounds good! What exhaust setup do you have? Hows drivability? Did you lose power down low? Any installation or other issues?

Sorry for so many questions. I only want to do cams one time if you know what i mean!

yep, he was referring to me. The car drive like stock (that's controlled by the tuner), I did a complete motor change along with exhaust, ect. when I did cams so I couldn't tell you how much of a drop down low that I had. Cams were installed with the new heads and everything out the car so no issues. Exhaust is Mac LTH, Mac o/r h-pipe and magnaflow (not pack) catback
