Hey, my Friend is looking to buy an SCT Chip used from someone...Arent the Chips Tuned to ONE car? With the Computer Model/Serial? The other kit had the Car Dynotuned at a Reputable shop down here in Tampa, What would my Friend need to do to make it work in his car? (they have the Same Mods, So the Tune would work fine on Friends car IF it will Recognize his Car....

Thanks! Sorry Might get a lil Confusing, Had to think about what i was typing up there!!

no you cant just plug that chip in and go. those chips need to have the certain cars computer code to operate. i bought one that had someone elses tune on their also but my tuner erased it and i gave him my computer code and he loaded my tune on there. tell your friend to get a dyno tune and he'll be fine with that chip
