Staggerd no understeer?

Is there any way to have the staggerd tires/wheels look and not have massive understeer? Maybe like 255s up front and 275s on 10.5 wheels out back?

275 on a 10.5 is ridiculous.

Our cars understeer because they are front heavy. A staggered set up will increase it but unless you are doing HPDE's you won't notice.

Thanks. I want to get into autocross, and possibly road coarse racing. Englishtown is starting a road course class. I would kill to go to that for a day. When i get my wheels, eventually, im going with nitto NT05s. Been reading/hearing great things about those.

One way to address this issue is heavier springs out back, if they are too soft and creating understeer issues. I had to face this issue and was not willing to give up my 200# springs out back JUST for AX days. I ended up going with an MMRSB-4 adjustable rear sway bar and soo far seems to have done the trick. I will be AX'ing her on this Saturday and will know better.

I had HUGE understeer issues at AX due to 700#+ springs up front and 200# out back. Not soo good for HPDE's, but deals with rough roads VERY well. My goal is the ability to adjust the sway bar as AX conditions dictate. I can run her up on blocks and modify to 3 other settings in about 10~15 minutes.

I will post an update with in-car video in the Racers Corner this weekend.

So when i switch to a coil over setup, hopefully next summer, i can just keep in mind to get stiffer rear springs and this should alleviate some of the under steer?

You could also pick up a stiffer rear sway bar. MM makes a really nice set up.

Nice, im hoping to go with a MM suspension set up in the future. Griggs is awesome, just crazy expensive.

I run the MMRSB-4 and is probably 25% stiffer than my stock 7/8" GT bar, in which it replaced, in the softest setting. For $340.00, so far seems to have been a great investment and has helped in the few back-road runs I have taken. The true test will be Saturday
