Default Underdrive Pullies

I was just wondering what kind of performance gains you guys were seeing with underdrive pullies, and what brands you liked. Also, how hard are they to install on a 2003 gt.

Your engine will rev a lot faster. I got the Steeda UDP's and love them. I don't know the exact power gains, but she revs faster.

Took me about 2 hours to put them on along with a timing adjuster. IT's a heck of a lot easier if you have amn impact wrench. Lucky me.

Thanks man, I am trying to choose between the steeda and bbk kits. I'm leaning more towards bbk since it is $70 cheaper though. Also, let me know how the predator treats ya!

are the BBK piggybacks????

I got the steeda cuz they are not piggybacks. That and I got them off of ebay, brand new for almost half price.

Ud pullies on the 99-04 are not all that great 1-3hp at the wheels, the pullies are much better on fox bodies and I also saw an article that dyno'ed a few different bolt ons for the 05 and the pullies did a pretty big gain for the 05

I think they said on steeda's web site that they got 8 to 10 hp gains, but that's probably at the crank. The ability to rev up faster on my stang would definitely be an advantage though.

im kind of in the same boat here, just waiting around to see what my next best mod is going to be,, ive considered pullies before,,,

but like people have said a few times before,, are they realy a good choice for a street car?
i dont know, maybe thats an exaggeration, but i was just wondering cause i cant wait to do anything else other than wheels and tires

also, when you guys say that your rpms rev up a lot faster, especially in first,, do any of you have 4.10's and have experiance with them.. im sure someone does, but i was just wondering
how incredibly short first gear becomes,, cause as is i can use first for starting and getting a quarter of the way through an intersection

Where did you see this?

I've seen gains from 8RWHP-12RWHP for UDP's....
