Power Mod(s)
I've had my 4.6 for about a year now and it's getting kind of boring so I thought I'd try to put a little pep in her step with some nitrous oxide. Anyways, I've heard the stock bottom end can handle 400 rwhp, so I was seriously considering throwing a 200 dry shot on there and be done with it for now. Are there any other supporting mods I would need to do? Can the 4r70w even handle something like this?

Can't you just tap into the fuel rail for a wet shot? I think you can get a nice kit with a 125 shot maybe more for like 400 bucks used, 600-ish new.

LOL J/King!! just wanted to yell at you..
So i dont know alot about the whole N2O thing but wouldnt a 200 dry shot be waayyy too big for a stock motor? I thought a dry shot is more stout than a wet shot. If so, doesnt this mean the OP would end up with ~450-500RW once he pushes the "go baby go" button???? this resulting in the infamous "boom"....?

I'm afraid to use a wet shot because I've heard horror stories of the nitrous puddling in the intake.

I do know that alot of ppl here run a wet shot. though i have never seen them run a 200 shot on a stock motor... i dont know ir there is a major diff between the 2 or not as to what one makes vs the other. I would do some researching before you commit to it just to make sure you are going to be in the safe zone.. Its wouldnt imagine it is very fun hitting the button one time and watching your engine fall to pieces...

a wet shot is SOOOOOO much more reliable and safer than a dry when it comes to "your average street car"....a focus pump may do the trick , but you will also prob need 30/36lb injectors...and then when your just ridin around (not sprayin) your car will be runnin like crap because of all the fuel....unless you get a "flip chip" with a n2o tune and a "ride around" tune....so instead of goin thru A BUNCH OF CRAP & ALOT of extra $$$ , just do a wet shot UP TO 125 and let her eat !!!
