I would first go fill it right up with gas that serves two purposes make sure tanks full and to warm up the car. When your home leave the car running and put on the needles , Gas should be right at full, at idle rpms should be at 750 (when warm), oil pressure, battery and temp when warm should all be straight up, at idle the speedometer raises of its peg a little bit. If thats what you see you should be all good

press and hold the trip button and start the car. this will bring the test screen up on your odometer. now release the trip button and keep pressing it till it shows your rpm. and you can set your rpm needle that way.

You need to have the car on jack stands with the wheels turning or moving to correctly set the speedometer needle. You can use the same method that Blackstallion mentioned to set your odometer to read Eng (English miles per hour). If you don't your speedometer will read 7 mph fast. (It will read 55 and you will actually only be going 48.)
