Why does my car do this?
Ever since I bought my car, very uncommonly, my car will "clunk". I don't get it, my car just went maybe 3 months without this happening, and now for some reason the car is doing it again. I will drive in the city, or come off the highway, and come to a stoplight. Sit there, doesn't matter if the clutch is floored or if I am in neutral, OCCASIONALLY it feels like from under the car or somewhere underneath the hood a "clunk" sound like.. deep sounding, and it makes a small vibration. One time, I actually came to a complete stop, and it clunked twice, once... then like 5 seconds later, once again, less severe.
I doubt I will get any comments back on this, but I will test the waters. By the way, engine mounts = 10,000 miles old.

Nope, I know what drivetrain slop feels like, because I feel that one every day. (You know, letting off the gas, then tapping the gas with a little force and the car kinda jerks..)
This noise is when I am NOT moving, and have been sitting for a few seconds and my foot is nowhere near the gas. It sounds and feels like a small weight hit something underneath the car.

its happens to me when i first put it into gear. In the chiltons manual it says it could be a warn u joint which could be the case on mine since i have over 100k. but ill have to look into the balencing ring too
