Angry 2002 mustang wont start!

hey people im new here and would really appreciate some help.anyways, the problem is i have a 02 Gt and my baby wont start anymore, it ran great the nite before and come morning didnt want to start, when i turn the ignition it sounds like it wants to start but wont...Get this, i changed the fuel pump and filter, wasnt it. changed the fuel relay fuse, not that either.I even changed the the fuel shut off valve and the fuel module, and still it wont start... im getting pretty heated and sad to see my pony in its distressed state any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

When you say "It sounds like it wants to start but wont" are we talking you can hear the engine cranking but it wont catch, or its "ticking" or what? Have you tried giving it gas as your turning the key?

ps. 04 cobra only because it would more then likely have less miles. Both are equally nice cars.

Same thing happened to my car two weeks ago. It was fine the night before and then wouldn't start the next day. 0949er had a good question. Does it sound like its trying to start and just not catching or does it start clicking when you turn the key? Mine sounded like it wanted to start but just wouldn't catch and eventually it would start clicking. I bought a new battery and haven't had a problem since. If it sounds like it's trying to start but just won't start at all and is not clicking when you turn the key, take your alternator out and have it tested. Thats what happened to my other mustang. New alternator cleared it right up.

04 because it's newer and +1 on the miles.

I have similar issue. Can you put starter fluid in the intake to see if it will start w/a shot of starter fluid?

Thought it could be a camshaft position sensor or crank sensor - but since it's starting when you give it the sniffing salts, you're most likely getting a spark alright.

These cars shut off the fuel injection when they have problems with the anti-theft system I think.

Oh well I'm voting for the '04

have you checked the fuel pressure to make sure your fuel pump is not dead?
