P0133,P0171,P0174...I just noticed them yesterday before i tured the car off and i just checked them today and thts what i got. I cleared the codes but what caused these?

 

Here's what the shop manual says...

 

P0171 is Too Lean Bank 1
P0174 is Too Lean Bank 2

I am not sure on the first one, but I have had the other 2 before, so I remember them.

and what could cause it to be lean?

 

I close to Lexington now, but I grew up around Evansville, IN.

A number or reasons would cause a lean condition. Have you added any mods recently?

 

just cop's and new plugs...i took out the diablo tune out of it...it came with that when i bought it.

 

It could definitely be the tune. Can you put it back in and clear the codes to see if the CEL comes back on.

i put the tune back in and the codes came back i think its in the fuel settings but im not sure

 

of topic but im right across the bridge from evansville in,i live in henderson ky

 

Oh, I know where henderson is. We used to drive across the bridge to get the cheap gas and window shop at the car dealerships. I played in some softball games over there too.........way back. I went to USI.........graduated in 2002
