Default HELP!!! VERT SUB BOX!

Ok guys
Everyone on here has always been a huge help, so here it is, i stripped my 99 vert down, dyna matted the entire car, put in a new deck, all new speakers, ran all my wires, and here i am stuck on a ported 2 cu ft sub enclosure!!!! i know someone on this site has a 12 or 2 in their vert so come out come out where ever u r and please give me some dimensions!!!!!! I have built plenty of boxes in the past and guessed at the air space but on this install i dont want to mess around with guessing on my air volume, that's lazy.

so thanks in advanced for any and all help!

if you want anything bigger then 10" to fit in the trunk, you pretty much got to build the box INSIDE the trunk. else there really isn't enough clearance.

Go measure the trunk with the top down (or up, whichever takes more space. I'd guess down lol) and see how much space you actually have. And since it's a vert, the back seats dont fold, so you WILL have to build the box inside the trunk. 2 ft^3 should be an easy fit though. I had a 6 ft^3 box in my coupe, but I fiberglassed it all and dont have a vert top to deal with haha

By the way, fiberglass is a good way to steal some airspace in the corners....

I couldn't fit my 12" in the trunk at first but eventually figured out to take the bottom panel and spare tire out. Put the box in, spare tire, and floor panel, in that order.

Sorry I can't even move the box enough to get a good measurement, it's that tight in the trunk. It sits in the very back of the trunk on the driver's side and faces the passenger side. I have it velcroed to the floor panel and a small binder wedged between the trunk and the box.

I don't know if you can guess a dimension from this picture, but here's the size of the box in relation to a 12"

By back I meant the rear of the car, sorry. You can't tell from the picture but the front of the box is angled, which helps make the box height a tad shorter. The amp sits behind the subwoofer on the drivers side. In my celica the trunk was big enough where I could mount the amp to the top, but had to disassemble it to fit in the mustang.
