Awesome write up, hopefully this will reduce the number of short shifter threads. I vote for this to be a sticky.

I agree it should be a sticky; I love my MGW and wouldn’t trade for anything else.

Good info up Cliffy! I loved my MGW shifter. When i bought my T-56, the guy gave me the steeda tri-ax he had on it so i will now get to see what it feels like. From the looks of it, i'm not going to like it as much as the MGW. The tri-ax, granted the tranny is not in the car, seems to have a bit more play in it vs my MGW that i have on the stock tranny. The other thing i liked about the MGW is that capability to position the shifter lever where ever you wanted(no more reaching for 3rd or 5th gear). This wont happen with the tri-ax..... The only adjustments you can make are to raise or shorten the lever itself. I'm going to try it though just to see how it feels.

eBay, $10 shipped--kind of pricey for whay it is (engraved name tag plastic), however it has held up well for 2 years now and is a lot better than the silly crap collecting change holder...

Thank you all for the great feed back!
