im installing a mac cold air intake on my 99 gt rite this minute. have my lap top at my car i cant seem to get the air filter on. you go up through the fender but it dosent want to fit what am i doing wrong

You really need a friend helping you with the filter. You have to take the filter under the car and up through the fenderwell. As you or your friend holds it up the other person up top bolts it to the elbow. If the actual filter doesnt fit in the fenderwell then you need to tell the seller that you're working on a Mustang and not a MAC truck. LOL
