Boost gauge Q: do i have boost?????
I installed a boost/vac gauge when it was N/A and now when i installed the s/c it seems like the gauge never gets out of the vac. I only reach about 3-4K RPM so far w/ it (b/c its not tunned). Also i only drove it a few miles, basiclly b/c it runs like **** (Untunnned).

If you hear the supercharger spool up and you still see no boost. Your gauge is probally not hooked up right. Unfortunally I do now know where it needs to be hooked up.
Even with a custom chip, you need to get it on a dyno to check a/f (or get a Dynojet Wide Band Commander A/F gauge). If you go lean while in boost, it's game over.

The only thing that concerns me is seeing that needle dip below 12 when I floor it. But I believe people that have a vortech and a boost guage start to see boost at 3k. But again, you don't want to see boost right now without a tune, so test the gauge when you get one. Curiosity killed the engine, not the cat.

Which vacuum source did you use to hook it up?? You should be using a vacuum source that is immediately after the Throttlebody... Just T- off one of the lines with a Vacuum T.. If you're still not getting boost, then something else is messed up...

I tried to have this done, and diablo managed to set my A/F to about 15.3:1. If it isn't done with the car on hand, and the car hooked to a A/F meter, its useless.
GET to a dyno shop!
