banjo bolts?
Hey guys,
I ordered the Mach 1 kit from buyfordracing.com and the banjo bolts. When I received the order, it didn't include the banjo bolts, stating they wouldn't work.
I haven't been getting anywhere with their customer service dept.
Anyone here know if I need them or not (before I attempt to install them?)?
Thanks

not true. my buddy bought that brake kit about 1 month ago and he needed the fine thread banjo bolts. he ended up finding them locally. but i tried to see if the banjo bolts from my 04 stock brakes would work and they wouldnt, mine were coarse thread. but on the other hand he does have a 2000 gt and we didnt check the bolts his stock brakes.

all i know is i needed them found a place locally to custom make some brake lines and they found the ones i needed on my way to pick them up
Dont get everything undone and have to put it all back together or you will be mad. just sayin

Well after going through the website... it looks like maybe the bullitt calipers might be different from the Mach and 10 anniversary cobra calipers. With that being said, I would assume the bullitt calipers are fine threaded banjo bolts, and the ones that came out of your stock brakes should work fine.
Notice on the 10 anniversary calipers, it specifically states you need the other banjo bolts, but on the bullitt calipers it says nothing.
So the questions that begs to be asked, what is the difference between bullitt calipers and stock GT calipers...?

piston size maybe? and another question, don't the bullitt/mach/cobra all use the same pad? its kinda strange that they're basically the same thing but use different banjo bolts
