Yeah in my 03 with the tremec 3650 i put Purple Royal in my tranny and it goes in reverse a lot easier, and grinding doesn't happen so bad like it use to, and a lot of times it doesn't grind at all.

A little trick I learned along time ago is put your car in 3rd before you go into reverse and it should not grind I was told it re-align's the gears so it won't grind. This has worked for me for 15yr I can't remember the last time I heard gears grind in reverse

So how would I go about changing out my tranny fluid? I grind a lot into reverse too and I am due to change out my fluid. I know there's a plug under the tranny and do you just fill it through the top?

yes take the drain plug out along with the side fill plug (so it drains faster) and put the bottom plug back in after its done draining and fill with 4 1/2 - 5 qts (it will start to come out the fill plug when its full).
