Default Proportioning valve for brakes

I went out to AX event over this past weekend and really found the bias a bit annoying. With my suspension set-up, I know it is possible to use my rear brakes to a better advantage.

I have done a bit of reasearch and peeked at the MMBPV-1 and see it is listed for a '79~'93.
Any input on those who have done this and what are your thoughts?

Jazzer... doin' the brake dance!

I would just call MM and ask em. I know the Baer makes one for our models becuase AZ2000GT has one IIRC. The bias is annoying as all hell tho. I havnt noticed it as much since I got better brakes tho.

Can someone explain exactly what this feeling is? Would something like this be different since I put a cobra rear in basically for the brakes.(best 150 I spent I think)

My car always felt like it was to light in the front. I dont know if it was just a faulty front caliper/pad but it just didnt feel right. Now that I have better fronts its where it is nice n heavy up front, probobly 70/30 I would guess?

My braking would be more efficient with more rear brake applied

I am running R comps, Griggs SLA and tube "K" with torque arm. I have much less brake dive than stock, so am sure I can run additional rear brake. I am going to have my g/f make some vids this weekend on amount of brake dive and if the rears will lock at all. I will do some experimenting with "E" brake to see if I have any improvement.

Maybe I am just use to the Cobra R kit.

That is what I figured. I am still on a mostly stock suspension in terms of actual design. Still the 4 link and modified MacPherson.
