Default car is missing....SOMETIMES

It recently started doing this again after a while.
The car will only miss:
-at idle (will drop to almost 0 rpm's then rev itself back to 1,000 then drop back to almost 0)
-at cruising (can feel the car lurch forward)
-under deceleration (exhaust will not pop as loud as it usually does and has a smooth sound to it)

It will NOT miss under acceleration

Any ideas would help guys

It did this before a while ago but stopped and just started again yesterday.

I have the same problem! I still cannot figure out what the hell it is. I changed my fuel filter thinking maybe that was cause the lurching nothing. Ive cleaned my iac several times nothing. So i have no idea... My coil packs/plugs and wires are new as well. And i even pulled all my plugs the other day to make sure they were all gapped correctly and didnt have any weird build up or anything. So im stumped as well.

i'm having the same kind of problems, and i knew that the idle problem was the IAC, but would it also cause a miss?

And my problem with the miss is that it doesnt happen all the time which leads me to believe that its not the COP's because if it were, wouldnt it be missing ALL the time?

For a whole variety of reason I won't list, the answer is no--but first pull the COPs and inspect the rubber boots for burning and cracking. They can be replaced for around $3 each.

Also check the plugs. What type are they, how many miles on them?

they are just OEM replacement plugs and they have about 700-800 miles on them
