e-bay, local mustang clubs, local performance shops...

If you have to ask "How Do I install them" it's probably a job best left to professionals.

Well, just in case, PI stands for performance improved, or power improved as some people call it...

The install is VERY involved...it involves stripping your whole top end off of the car, replacing headgaskets, heads on, torquing everything to spec, etc.

if you add all the pi stuff to your 96-98, is it then the same as a 99+ 4.6?

A little bit higher actually. The 99+'s have a deeper dished piston, so the compression level is a little bit higher on PI swapped cars... So it's technically about 10hp or so more than 99+ cars, not to mention the LOADS of crap that you clean out of your motor while you've got it open.

so a pi swapped 96-98 has more hp than a 99+? but you need to use 91 octane, right?
