Default Nitrous

I have a compucar nitrous kit but have a few questions. I see they do not make a bottle opener is there one that will work from a different company. Also do i need to use a compucar purge kit or will one work from another company. Finally how about the bottle heater. If for some reason i left the heater on is there some kind of safely i can get to auto shut it off. THanks

Most bottle openers and purge kits can be made to work with most nitrous kits. You will find that most bottle heaters are pressure or tempature regulated, so they will automatically shut off when they reach the desired level. When you shut the car off the heater shuts off as well.

One last thing? My kit was for a 300gt and i am coverting it for my stang. I have a 5 speed transmission. What is the safest thing i can do for this situation. Window switch, push button. I just dont know how it works with a 5 speed because last time is used it was for an auto.

With the use of a programable window switch will i have any problems running it on a manual transmission. I always ran nos on a automatic. Will i have wheel spinning or any other problems or is that all about how it is programmed on the window switch. I take it that when i shift the nos will shut off for a sec and get back on when i get back on the throttle, is that right?
