Hey guys I am brand new here, but I have been reading alot of posts for the past month. I have a quick question. I got a 02 GT Mustang and I didn't get keyless entry with it. Wasn't keyless entry a standard feature for the GT? If so that means the dealer just lost the clicker and I need a new one. Also what is the theft light that is on my dash? I noticed a sticker on the window about vehicle tracking but I have no clue. Please clue me in so I don't look stupid for much longer!

the theft ability works like this....

your key has a chip in it, and if your engine is started with anything other then your key,

it will notice it, and shut off

 

I don't think it will start in the first place.. but same idea. also, I think keyless is standard, and you should have gotten two remotes.

 

Yeah just turns over, and won't start.

 

Keyless entry is a standard. You can get replacements at Ebay for like $15 shipped. They provide detailed instructions of how to program it. If you have none you may need to visit for dealer,but I`m not certain. Good luck!

 

you should try your damndest to get that car dealer to give you two remotes.
