Dont supose you have a test light? If so I'd check them all. Also try checking the connections back there and the wires, make sure none have been pinched or anything. Im curious to what is causing this.
If you brake lights work proper and all that, as well as the fuse being good, leads me to think its got to be the connections of the bulbs or one/some of the wires in the trunk there. Also I dont know if you used any but it helps to put very small dabs of dielctric grease on the contacts and connections.
yea i dont really hav much time to mess with it right now and its not a big deal, still have 1 tag light, now ive a check engine light so ill have to go get that code read, paint in the ***
Yeah I know how that is, I was just able to get some suspension work done all this last weekend. Good luck with the problem, I'll still keep thinking and see if I come up with anything else.
all brake lights, reverse lights, 1 3rd brake light and 1 tag light work.
3 of the 4 bulbs in the 3rd brake light r out and 1 of the 2 tag lights are out
As some of the bulbs in the affected circuit are working, it is not the fuse. As stated above, the most likely culprit is a bad/loose connection or bad bulb. I doubt it is the bulbs if you already replaced them. The lack of dielectric grease isn't the problem, but the use of it could easily help prevent future problems.
from when i looked at them, they seemed perfectly untouched and stock, no strips or splices, i will investigate it further when it warms up, ill hav to get a tester
