HI, ive just bought NGK G-POWER spark plugs from americanmuscle. Do they need to be gapped before I install them or can I just pull the old ones out and throw new ones in. Also do these plugs need to be set in at proper torque level for 01 GT ?

I would use the stock plugs or NGK TR-55s, also definitely use some anti-seize in the threads. This will make removal much easier and just in case you are one of the unlucky ones with the 4 thread heads, it will minimize the possibility of pulling the threads out.

Most plugs come gapped from the factory.....but they should always be checked to make sure they are at the correct gap for your application.
