Default predator users

For those who using the predator tune does it use less fuel than your stock computer...In other words I've heard that it gives u better mpg by lessening the fuel flow but u make up for it by using premium

i use a xcal personally, and have a fuel economy tune but i use the 91+ octane tune so i havent noticed any difference really. if u are looking for a tuner i have my xcal for sale.

It leans the A/F ratio and advances the timing which can improve mileage, however a tradeoff of advanced timing is the requirement to use premium fuel to prevent pre-detonation.

Your original post said nothing about advancing the stock timing, and the tune does not "lessen fuel flow" to increase mpg. Using premium does not "make up" for anything either, it simply avoids pre-detonation.

I meant making up for the cost savings of the overall use... less fuel used but more expesive used... like I said I will make a chart as soon as I get some mpg data for the new tune

And just fyi the car feels better with the tune, a lot more smooth, before the car felt choppy and now the exhaust sounds propper leading me to believe the stock tune was really really rick
